International UAS Exam
If you will paricipate International UAS Exam, before applying, please read the instructions from the website of International UAS Exam.
To apply for individual arrangements, submit this application with the necessary attachment(s) by 17 September 2026 at 15.00 Finnish time. Never send medical documentation by email. Attach them to this form.
If the need for individual arrangements arises or is discovered after the end of the application period, deliver the individual arrangement application with attachment(s) to TAMK without delay. In this case please inform TAMK Admissions immediately after sendin this form by email: admissions.tamk[at]tuni.fi. Please note, that if the application arrives close to the exam date, it might not be possible to organize individual arrangements.
You will be informed of granted individual arrangements before the entrance examination. Please note that the nature of your special need may result in TAMK granting you only partial arrangements (e.g. only interview part of the exam). The individual arrangement decision only applies to the specified entrance examination(s) in this application round.
This application only concerns entrance examinations organized by TAMK. Every higher education institution gives its own guidelines on how to apply for individual arrangements.

The International UAS Exam is used by the following bachelor's degree programmes: Environmental Engineering, International Business, Nursing, Software Engineering, Textile and Material Engineering
Please note that individual arrangements are not available for pre-tasks. Individual arrangements are only applied to the online exam or the interview.

Please attach the copies of certificates that validate your need for individual arrangements (e.g. a statement of dyslexia, a doctor’s certificate or a similar statement on the type of disability or illness).
If you are applying for additional time because of dyslexia, a statement from a speech therapist, qualified special education teacher, psychologist familiar with dyslexia or a specialist (e.g. children’s neurologist, neurologist or phoniatrist) should be attached. The statement must describe what kind of special arrangements the applicant needs when participating in the exam. TAMK can also accept a statement from the Finnish matriculation examination board, if it states the need for the individual arrangements in question. Only dyslexia that significantly affects the examination is taken into consideration. TAMK accepts a dyslexia screening assessment that has been conducted at the age of 16 or after.
The validity of the statements will be evaluated case-specificly depending on the permanence of the disability or illness.
If you are accepted to a study place, be prepared to present the original copies in the beginning of your studies. Information concerning the applicant’s health is confidential (JulkL 24§).
